Madeleine Case

Madeleine Case is a Junior at Vassar College majoring in Film and minoring in Art History. She spends much of her time and energy writing and directing films and creating art in various mediums. Her passion for filmmaking originated from writing scripts with her dad while growing up. The narratives she is most drawn to focus on the underestimation of femininity and uplifting complex female voices. She is based in Los Angeles and New York and is the writer and director of two award-winning short films. She was named a 2022 YoungArts Finalist and a 2022 Presidential Scholar in the Arts for the screenplay of her second film, “Hardcore.” She also won the 2023 Female Rising Star Award at the All-American High School Film Festival for the same film.
